Over the past four years, Bryce has served as an instructor at Rush University, where his commitment to shaping the next generation of nurses has been unparalleled. Known for his engaging teaching style, Bryce creates innovative and practical educational materials tailored to the unique needs of graduate nursing students. His role extends beyond the classroom, offering tutoring and mentorship to prelicensure students, all while fostering an environment of support, patience, and encouragement.
In addition to his instructional responsibilities, Bryce oversees the peer tutoring program, managing a team of up to 25 tutors with exemplary leadership and organizational skills. He also plays a pivotal role in orienting new clinical faculty, ensuring they are equipped with the tools to succeed in their roles. Bryce’s influence on the academic journey of his students and colleagues alike underscores his dedication to fostering excellence in nursing education.

Before transitioning into academia, Bryce distinguished himself as a registered nurse in the acute rehabilitation department, caring for patients with complex medical conditions such as stroke, organ transplants, post-orthopedic and spinal surgeries, and acute organ failure. His clinical expertise is a testament to his unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality of patient care.
Bryce’s dedication to lifelong learning is evident through his advanced degrees and certifications, including his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and certifications as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN). Currently pursuing his Ph.D., Bryce’s research focuses on factors influencing help-seeking behavior among nursing students, contributing valuable insights to the field of nursing science.
