INF 40 Under 40 Awardee: Jaden Beckwith

For Jaden Beckwith, the call to nursing began with a deep desire to give back to the people who helped him through some of life’s most challenging moments strangers whose compassion left a lasting impact. “That sense of service inspired me to earn my BSN and pursue a career in emergency medicine,” Jaden shares. “I wanted to be the person who shows up for others in their most critical times, just like others once did for me.”
Serving in the Emergency Department and Beyond
Jaden has found his purpose working in EMS and the emergency department, caring for patients during moments of crisis and uncertainty. His work demands calm under pressure, resilience, and the ability to deliver compassionate care when seconds matter most. Outside the hospital, Jaden also serves as a medic in the Army National Guard, a role that has strengthened his dedication to readiness, adaptability, and service.
Living a Mission of Compassionate Care
For Jaden, whether he’s in the field or at the bedside, the mission remains the same: to be there for people when they need it most. “Being recognized as part of this year’s 40 Under 40 is a true honor,” Jaden reflects. “I hope my story reminds others that the smallest acts of care can leave a lifelong impact and that every nurse has the power to change a life, even in a single moment.”
The Illinois Nurses Foundation proudly celebrates Jaden Beckwith as a 2025 40 Under 40 Emerging Nurse Leader for his commitment to emergency care, military service, and compassionate nursing leadership.
