Alexandra Soltis nursing career began with humility and grit, starting as a unit secretary and CNA before discovering a passion for leadership that would shape her path. After earning both her BSN and MSN from Lewis University, Alexandra began her career steadily advancing into nursing roles through determination and dedication. Although she initially envisioned spending her entire career at the bedside, Alexandra’s path shifted unexpectedly toward leadership, a direction she hadn’t initially imagined for herself.
Discovering Leadership Through Mentorship
With the encouragement of mentors and supportive colleagues, Alexandra uncovered a natural talent for leadership and found purpose in guiding and uplifting others. “I never set out to move into leadership,” she reflects. “But with the right people believing in me, I discovered that helping nurses grow and supporting teams to deliver their best care is where I feel most fulfilled.”
Creating Space for Nurses to Thrive
Today, Alexandra is passionate about empowering teams to provide exceptional patient care and fostering an environment where nurses can thrive professionally and personally. Supporting career development, improving team dynamics, and celebrating the achievements of others has become one of the most rewarding aspects of her work. For Alexandra, the relationships she’s built with patients, colleagues, and mentees alike remain a driving force behind her commitment to nursing. “These connections remind me why I chose this path,” she shares. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to positively impact individuals while contributing to the growth and strength of the healthcare community.”
