The 40 under 40 Emerging Nurse Leaders Award was established by the Illinois Nurses Foundation to highlight and celebrate young nurse leaders who are impacting health care and the nursing profession today and who undoubtedly shape the future of the profession.

On September 17th at 6pm we are coming together to celebrate 40 amazing emerging leaders from practice, education and administration.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are hosting a virtual celebration of this year’s nominees.  Fred, morning show co-host from 103.5 KISS FM, will emcee the event. The planning committee is striving to add a little fun and excitement to the event, so the recipients feel the love and respect being sent to them from a distance. 

Please take a moment to register for the event now.  Details regarding how to join the meeting will be sent to all who register the week before the event.  The Illinois Nurses Foundation appreciates your continued support of this program and offers you the opportunity to purchase a congratulatory ad in a commemorative program book provided to each awardee.  An electronic version of the commemorative program book will be available online for easy download.
